Wow, I just read Josh Fox's single Chair Weather blog.
What a "Debbie Downer" he is this week. We just skier great powder and fabulous conditions all weekend, and he is basically calling an end to the season. He must be having a case of "The Monday's"!

I have given up on following him and all the other weather "gurus". Once again they missed it on Saturday calling for rain. I think that prevented well over a 1,000 people from enjoying what we did this weekend. The Season goes on and the skiing and riding is good. They didn't predict the 5" of new snow we had in the past 24 hours either. At day 74 I looking for at least 100 days and maybe 110-115. Keep the faith!

It has been the pattern of the entire winter. The forecasts have been all doom and gloom all week. Then come wednesday they start to hint at improvement and by the weekend, conditions are pretty good. Keep the faith.

My faith is powder at Sugarbush is unshakable. I'm planning on a week at the end of March, our usual, and I'm certain we'll have plenty of snow to enjoy. March is the snowiest month, and I plan on skiing in April.

I like it. Did you know that both Lightroom 4 and Imovie will lighten your video so it is less dark.

Speaking of missed forecasts, almost pulled the plug on small group trip this past wknd with the doom & gloom of widespread rain. So very glad we kept the faith, though felt like a target of the Inquisition in the days leading up to the trip North. Used footage from the previous week's dump to motivate the troops...

btw, that's Howie's white helmet and shrieks of ecstasy while I plow the freshies just ahead of him, and I'm sure many here will recognize most of those places ;-)

Three days ago...Saturday AM. 9:20 ish.

It was a creamy treat. 2 stops. Really deep in spots. Had my sultan 94's, and wasnt hitting bottom much. Little click here and there. My fat and way fat sticks were parked. Got a facey or two, too, and I'm 6'2". Memorable for the snow, and serenity.

Very nice Smoothie. Those skinny skis do make you look taller. I'm sure Kenny can take care of any knicks and clicks. I'll assume the rock garden section was filled in and covered?
C U on the weekend. Can't wait for spring bumps.

The garden of rock was filled in nicely, and flowed with no problems. Now Hawk - this is a Sugarbush Powder Week thread! Are you cheating??

Hawk, nice. Seventh Heaven? With snow like that did you do laps off Spanky's?

Nope that is the Harmony Chair, and Yes we did do quite a few laps off Spankys. Ruby actually blew in nice at the top with the wind direction we got. The top third was waist deep blower. Also did fresh tracks breakfast two days and nailed it perfectly. We got like 5 totally untracked runs the first day and even more the second time as we knew where we were going. Full breakfast with anything you can think of and then untracked before the massed for like $19. That was a no brainer. 5 pow days and 2 bluebird days. Couldn't have hit it any better.

Yup! I am. Sorry I couldn't resist. We got so fed up with this winter that we booked and left within two weeks. Very spur of the moment. See you guys this Saturday afternoon when we all can get our green on. ;-)

Howie, I do not have a host sight because I am lazy. I will post a couple of Pics when I get a chance at home. Is there a way to download a 30 Meg vid to this site?
