Anyone care to guess what Punxsutawney Phil will predict tomorrow?

That furry varmint better see his shadow! We definitely need more winter this year.

I think it is supposed to be sunny in PA tomorrow.

Chicken?, He tastes like Ground hog! Not quite as awesome as opossum, but less greasy than raccoon.

Surprised Sugarbush doesn't have it's own critter for winter Mascot. Sure, we have Rumble who is very special, but he is more anthropomorphesized like a human ambassador. Kind of like a cute fuzzy Win, that likes getting touched by the customers. Don't try to pet Win. That won't go over well, me thinks.

Moose is out since that is the other Sugar mascot and Maine in general. Catamount are supposed to be extinct (even though i got pix of tracks in the snow this winter). And let's face it, its Vermont, varmint are "another red meat". Maybe the Barkbiter could be our Mascot? He only comes out in the winter, and usually only at the 'Bush. Probably not great with the kids though.....

I would have had pictures of tracks of the Catamount if I would have had my camera a few years ago. So I go with Catamount. huge paw prints.

Had a mink cross in front of me at the top of Castlerock run a few year's back. Nice natural fur parka.

Was it White? I would bet it was an ermine then. I only say that because mink is very rare these days and I have seen and Ermine before.

Ermine is a nicer sounding name than weasel, which is just what that is.
