Ski house management

So we've had a ski house in the valley for the last 5-6 years and have been using google groups to keep tabs on things- who is up when, phone numbers, other discussions, etc.

It looks like over the last year Google has removed a lot of the functionality that made this possible- you can only post discussions.

Anyone have any recomendations for an alternative?

Group email is the only way we've done it for the past 10-12 years. Just everyone has to remember to hit 'reply all'.

Google Groups gave me similar problems at my place of work. Lost an entire marketing calendar.


Given a deadline of Thursday night, everything changes based on weather, kids,rides, etc. So even with a head count, 8-14" of snow always seems to change that, as does the immature snow forecast - only the other way.

Thanks- we ended up going with Google Sites- which is working out pretty well. Took some initial setup but operates like Groups used to.

Another option could be to setup a template based web page. Most of them allow you to password protect the site, or portions thereof and you can assign multiple people access to edit, or author content. They also typically have plugins for basic forums available.
