so glad I ditched work - great skiing, (nice vid! does the snow justice)
hoping for another day or 2 next weekend .... but if it does not happen, this April's skiing will keep me smiling through the looooong summer!

Started the day with fluffy turns on Spring Fling. After a few more untracked velvet groomers spent the rest of the day in the trees! Did not get wet till the last hour 4-5PM

It's clear and star-y out now. Looks like a great day tomorrow.

Heard they had 1100 people on Friday. Long range forecast for next Sat. Is 60 degrees and sunny. Personally hoping they open not only for the weekend but Friday also.

Skiing was great all weekend. We skied mostly woods and the coverage up top is still great. Paradise woods on Sunday was good enough for miltiple runs. Ventured over as far as Bear and found it to be all good. Amazing compaired to last year. They will easily have enough snow for next weekend. Coverage on Steins, Spring Fling and Coffee Run are many feet deep. If we get the rain and warm temps they are predicting this week, Heavens Gate may be in a little trouble. Just the bottom sections of Ripcord, Jester and Downspout. We will see I guess. See you up there. 8)
