And there so much snow to still ski!

Even if it has the possibility of R*** (which will wash the corn nicely). It does not last long and sun returns quickly.
No such thing as bad weather only bad clothing.

It's April. Spring Skiing! Come on Up.

Looks like tomorrow and Saturday will be sunny. But then I see snow flakes :)Treeskier....the eternal ski-optimist! What would we do without you and all other ski-optimists?

And, can you help me out with some optimistic golf forecasts this spring & summer? But only if they can assist in keeping my Titleist out of the woods......I might need to explain that concept to you on a ride up HG tomorrow.

Rain....snow whatever. I just want it to be dry and warm this time of year. It's hard to have the detonators play outside in the rain. Yup it is that time of year I begin to lick my wounds and turn my attention to biking. I have got many days in on the mountain Bike and Road bike already. It's looking like a stong year for me. Don't get me wrong, I will ski it if it is there until the bitter end but Bike season is so short. :)

"...but Bike season is so short"

And bike shorts are so seasonal. :P

Looking forward to the rite of spring. Driving over frost heaves, through mud ruts, carving corn, bashing soft bumps, not needing any base layers, sunglasses instead of goggles, warm lift rides, cold beer in the warm afternoon sun, listening to music outside on the patio, with the die hard pass holders. Good times! 8)

Yup, April skiing is as about as good as it gets! Well, >18" of Powder midweek is as about as good as it gets, but spring skiing in April is definitely #2!

C U 2nite.

Today's corn bump is tomorrow's trout pool.

I tuned up my mountain bike Wednesday evening and it is ready to go. At 62, I have instituted a strict personal rule against skiing and golfing in the rain/drizzle. But on my mountain bike, almost anything goes!

Here's hoping for some spring weekend sunshine for the balance of April for us fickle flatlanders. The sun will bring me back to SB for some weekend corn. &, if it snows, of course, I go.

WOW what an afternoon Sunday turned out to be!

We ended up getting about 2" of sand on top of everything. Made for a beautiful velvet cream cheese layer.. The wood where excellent. And a great pack of skiers to set tree lines.

Off hopefully to a command performance.
