Lot's of views I suspect and the 1st ski ad I've seen on that page. Thnking it costs quite a bit - they ( Drudge) get more hits that most other pages on a daily basis.
Maybe they pay by clicks?
Either way, reaching an audience that generally has the money to spend and being the 1st ski resort on there has it's benefits.
This is where good use of current conditions video can make someone act on the ad. As they say - 3" in a metro area does more for ski country traffic than 2' in the mountains does.
