Ok is this like not talking to a pitcher throwing a no-hitter?

From what I can tell the forecasts call for 6-12 inches. Is that at base or can there be more up top (I think we all deserve to have some greedy thoughts)?
I have to work in NYC tomorrow, so I'm hoping wednesday morning is worth the driving up tomorrow night.

According to NWS, as of 6:00PM:

"6 TO 12 INCHES OF SNOW IS EXPECTED TO FALL FROM MIDNIGHT TUESDAY
THROUGH MIDNIGHT WEDNESDAY WITH THE GREATEST ACROSS THE NORTHERN
GREEN MOUNTAINS."

If I were to take a gander, I'd say we'll get 8 in the valley, and 12-14 on the summits. But that's just a wild guess... we'll have to wait and see what happens. All I know for sure is that it's gonna snow! Very Happy Very Happy Very Happy Of course, I'd like to see 18-24, but I don't think that will happen Crying or Very sad . I guess I'll be happy with whatever we get. Wink

National Weather Service Winter Storm Warning. I tend to stick to the NWS reports... they're usually ALMOST accurate compared to everyone else. nws.noaa.gov. They're still saying 6-12.

Yes... I think we all need the comforting security of watching snow accumulate before we can sleep!

Ah, here's the good page...

http://www.weather.gov/view/prodsByState.php?state=vt&prodtype=allwarnings

I've been looking at the forecast for Moretown, which has the Montpelier 4 to 8 forecast, but the Eastern Addison County etc one below that seems more appropriate

Very Happy Cool

Oh, really good radar for anyone who wants to see also... http://weather.unisys.com/satellite/sat_ir_rad_loop-12.gif
