Rumor has it that the Northern Greens (among other places) are going to get some snow this weekend. As of late Thursday night, Nat'l Weather Service, Roemer and Roger Hiil are saying there's a potential for a foot (at least 6 inches anyway) from Friday morning through Saturday night. Kind of a slow, sneaky and steady snowfall caused by a low pressure system coming down from Quebec.

I just figured I'd start a thread to begin discussion of the snow and the skiing. Apparently all those snow dances from late December thru early Feb are starting to pay off.

I'll be up in the Valley for the weekend and am looking forward to some fresh powder. The skiing should be fantastic. I skied at South last Sunday and the conditions were great (as others have already commented). It's only going to be that much better after another foot plus a week of grooming and snowmaking.
