Skied Mad River today. About 1" of wet glop in the base area. 3" of heavy wet snow at the top of Practice Slope and a good 6-8"+ top of App Gap. Snow as wind effected in a lot of places. Snow did dry out the higher you got. "Great base snow" With rock skies in hand we ended up doing two runs. One was not enough. Lots of people had the same idea on our second time up. Pictures to be posted tomorrow.
Back to my snow dance!
Lost one this is not a trip report but a description of skiable snow in the valley that is legal to ski and post. Please do not move it.

Sorry... It is a post about Mad River.
I really can't believe you would say it should stay in the Sugarbush room with all the crap about my moving others' reports.
There were people observed at the bush, today. Were they to post, that would be legal. |
This should be moved back in. It is the only report we have of what frozen precip fell on the mtn. Just because the basis of the observation came from MRG doesn't mean it should be banished.
lighten up on the forum classification patrol.

Where is the report from?
Is anyone not allowed to read things in this room? |
no but most people don't look there.
Besides, there is no reason to be so militant about the issue.

Now technically, shouldn't this be moved to the Misc. Forum ?

Nice pics, TS. Looks like good base building material...
Lostone, let me help you keep things tidy here. Even though you commented on it, looks like you missed one.

Strat, if that is not a big deal why move it in the first place? Treeskier can read category titles and decided to post the thread in certain place. Let it stay where original author wanted it.

It is a post about skiing Mad River Glen. We have a room for Mad River Glen. This is it. |
A link remains in the Sugarbush forum anyways, so why is it a huge deal that it's moved? People will see it there too.
